Damn the modem!!!

Y things aren't just right????!!!

First, they don't have shoes of my size, then the modem rosak and lots more.

But, i'm so glad to have my friends around. Had a fun karaoke session with Yett and Girl, then a bbq party with high school friends and ex-house mates on saturday.

Fyi, i'm blogging from in-laws place. So, i'm kinda "tersekat" minda again...serabutlah!

How is it going?

My first day lazying around at home...how is it going so far? i woke up at 7.30am cos the radio was playing my current favourite song "I won't go home without you" by Maroon 5. Then, i did my laundry, whilst texting my friends just to tell them 'hey, its nice to be on the bed now"..hahahaha!!evilish me...you can put the blame on me!

And now, while doing this post, i'm enjoying my sweet juicy dragon balls...eh..salah dragon fruit!

The End of An Employment Legacy

I, Caroline Robert will become an official unemployed tai tai starting tomorrow. Wish me all the best of luck for my early retirement and i might be starting to collect a welfare fund from you, my dearest friends to finance my christmas gifts shopping.

I'm so feeling broke, well not yet...but i can see it coming >_< .

I'll be officially unemployed by next monday onwards... my feelings? I'm quite sad actually as this is gonna be the 1st time i'll be "incomeless". It ain't easy. Like every single things you spent on, you need to take note of. Cos, by the end of the month the "Finance Minister" requires an actual spending worksheet to be submitted to him. Ain't fun at all...

There's something wrong with the modem at home, so i can't get online from home and now i'm actually blogging from my workplace.

Gotta go now for a farewell lunch...later will have farewell dinner and teh finale would be on monday evening, another farewell dinner. Will post some photos soon...cheers and have a wonderful weekends ahead.

I have decided on which ring to get for Him but for Her (that's moi..), i can't even decide whether i should get a matching wedding band as his (platinum + gold + a "cute" diamond in the middle) or a platinum classic solitaire?

Actually i wanted both (oooppsss...i did it again!). I told him once, that if i choose the matching band, can i have a solitaire on our 1st anniversary or as a gift for me producing his offsprings? He said "SURE" but you think i need to draft a written agreement on that? LOL!!!

Introducing my latest addiction...

Girls Night Out

We had a superb night out on Friday night. Since everyone's getting married we decided to just go out, enjoying each other's company. Well, it is not that we can't meet each other up anymore once we are married, but like it or not...things are gonna be different later.

We had dinner and dance at Planet. At first there were just me, Ninie and Ina. Then, soon after we started our dinner, Te' came. She joined us for a while. She's truly a sweetheart for making an effort to come straight from her office. When she left, there was Justina with her colleagues. I'm so gonna miss all of them...I, had so much fun (again...) right from the dressing up moment up to the time that the 3 of us holding the Westin's staircase railing to get to the parking lot (we barely have the energy to climb the staircase...) LOL!!!

Was out to Ken's salon today to trim my hair. Then went to Bangsar to yam cha with my ex-housemates. Well, me being the organiser (like always lah kan...) choosed Bangsar cos i need to shop for attire for our little bachelorette party for our lovely friend tomorrow's nite. Bias kan? HAhahah..anyways, i don't know if they had fun but i did...

As i was driving today, i suddenly feel so down and i was thinking of something that i shouldn't have thought of...bad, really bad that it makes me cry. A bride-to-be shouldn't be left alone, don't you think?

I've chosen my wedding gowns YAY!! And it was so difficult to decide...thanks to Dayung Tiq for teman'ing' me and my bad for having our lunch at 4pm!! She, just like me...went like "wow...i like this one, and the previous also not bad, this one also nice".

Finally, i decided to go for....okay, let just keep it as a suprise until the big day. All i know tonight i'll be dreaming about the gown and might be smiling in my sleep :)

Stressed!!

I hate it whenever i have to look for new places and have to drive alone there. This month since the future in-laws are holidaying in Bali, i have to take the responsibilities to pay Den's housing loan from OCBC. Hell, i have no idea which branch should i go or at least pernah terserempak or tersesat ker...and for those who are close to me memang know i'm a bad navigator. Ni nak gi open house tomorrow nite, sure sesat also *sigh*.. Den was so fed-up with me that he told me to just forget about it...forget about it then what?! Ha, itulah, ada masalah itulah jalan penyelesaiannyer kengkawan, FORGET ABOUT IT!!senang kan...WT*!

Sorry, had bad times today..i get irritated easily...I just woke up and showered after i slept for almost 2 hours. Balik2 from office, put down my handbag and there i was tertido. I was tired of doing nothing, seriously. The system was down since early morning and the whole day i was doing nothing (well, nothing that is useful to the companylah)...i found myself planning for fren-fren fathering, my own farewell gathering (boleh kan?!), what to wear this sunday for the wedding gown fitting, should i buy another pair of shoe tomoro since my favourite peep-toe heel dah patah..those are the things that i did todaylah. Gosh, how to spent the next few years as a fulltime housewifelah!!!

I'm busy...NOT!!!

I miss my i'm-busy time...since i resigned i found myself felt sleepy in the office and doing nothing much in the morning while waiting for lunch time...and most of the time i'll be ready for lunch break as early as 1030!!!

To make it not obviouslah kan, i'll put my IM status as "busy' but i was damn bored to death. Then, i'll start kacau'ing' my frens. I can't imagine going to the "desert" and be a housewife, doing nothing much. Den is a lil bit worry about me not working cos he knows i can't sit still. Well, i'll figure out something or at A thing..

Superb weekends with Tiq

How was ur weekends? Mine was fabulous. Me and Tiq went to the dance festival, akhirnyer after our last minute planning. So, that Friday itself i walked to Tower Records KLCC to buy our tixs. And around 5.30pm on Saturday, just the 2 of us went to A' Famosa. When we reached there, no high heels ladies...it was bloody muddy cos the place was flooded the night before and there were few bigs tractors working on re-sand the area. So, we were dancing the night away on the mud!!The heck!!!But no lah, we were dancing on the dry area except that to get to the beer booth and the mobile toilet you would have to walk on the mud. It was even worst for those who went to the Foam Bar, which me and Tiq decided not to cos we were not planning to stay overnight there.

Talking about the mobile toilet (aiyah...shud have taken photos of us queing...), there were like around 25,000 clubbers came for the party but they have only 2 mobile toilets!!!and talking about drinking beers which makes your pundi kencing jadi hyperactive. Some of them just walked into the bushes and did their business there. Well, i don't mind the guys but the ladies...mesti dah tak boleh tahan sgt lah tu..

Our favourite was the TQX Freedom Electric..awesome!!A little bit on our journey back to KL. I almost didnt believe that both of us (2 girls!!!) had the guts to drive out from A Famosa and headed back to KL at 4am and we actually did sleep in the car at Seremban R&R cos we cannot tahan, so mengantuk and only woke up at 6.30am to continue the journey back to Maya! I was telling Tiq, "Yung, christians are going to church at this time, and we r just balit from ronggeng"...all she did was giving me a guilty yet WTF look and said "dontlah make me feel so KEJI"...hahaha...Yung,i really had fun!!!

I'm blogging from Hotel Maya room..huhuh..our fren who is staying here (like living here kind of stay) has gone outstation.So, me and another friend was invited to "roomsitting". The room is awesome!!! and guess what is aling awesome, for tomorrow and monday i'll just walk to my office. no driving along the federal highway at 6.30am and i don't have to put my make up in the car!

Btw, we (as in me and Tiq) are planning to go to the Recharge Revelation party in A Famosa resort this weekend...i'll post some photos soon yah..

Carolina Capoeira de Amour

I've been wanting to try capoeira since last 2 years and since i'll be part of the increase in the unemployment rate in Malaysia by mid of next month. I'll drag Iena along...Iena if you read this, lets "capoeira"ing babe...we got to the drop-in class for RM30 per class..please babe (on bended knees...hahahah)

Why drop-in? cos, i know i'm not the type that is so disciplined to ensure i'll attend every single class. So, it is gonna be a waste if i enrolled for monthly or even weekly classes.

My kind of Friday...

What happened today (in random orderlah...). To lazy to create sentences...blah...i just did!

1. Went for lunch at Starbucks. Been craving for its Green Tea since last week. Sampai mimpi tu..

2. Bz "IM"ing with some frens. Since i resigned that was what i've been doing in the office. Nah...none of my colleague knows about this blog anyway..

3. Noticed that i have pimple (a big one...like a spotlight) right under my nose and i think another one coming up on my chin, haih...

4. I was only actively utilising my brain at around 4pm, itupun nasib baik my boss needs to clarify some figures, so i had to put my IM status as "Busy"..cheehh..

5. And then hor, on the way back from work there was this young couple..bolehkan nak romen2 di hari jumaat yang bahagia ni dlm monorel yg sesak2 tu..puhlis, get a room! Btw, that is what i saw almost everyday...like in a bloody crammed monorail!

7. Oh yeah...for these 4 weeks, we are required to wear this T-shirt to promote the company latest product (financial services btw..). We tried not to go out publicly wearing this T-shirt tp nak green tea punya pasal, put on the sweater and jalan2 kaki tgh2 panas to KLCC is so not cool -_-

Too emotional?

Someone was at the airport when i text him, asking if he is doing ok. He is so into his job that he don't text me if i don't text him first (i think he still have no idea about this blog *_* ).

See, i was too emotional today maybe because its almost the time of the month (no need to elaborate lah hor...). So, i was missing him like a lot and text him about it. Guess his reply: "maybe it is because i bought u stuffs" !!!

Like WTH kan!!!So romantic of him rite... o_O

Buyasha!!

I love being home when my sister is around..cos there'll be someone to boss around!!!hahahah...nahlah. i love my baby sis, my only sis. she'll cook me dinner cos she likes to eat. She's on raya break so she came down from the so-very-hutan uni. And a friend who is a bistro manager wanted me to come over for drinks and at least i've got a reason to refuse like "i have an underaged sister at home and i don't wanna leave her alone >_< ".

I noticed that i cursed a lot lah, like A LOT!!! must change lah if i want to start a family soon kan..i tried not to curse in front of any of my family members and normally i can control myself. In front of friends mmg failed lah. Until last Saturday while cleaning the house and i dropped the water bottle from the fridge utilities rack and i went with the "F" word and my sis was just looking at me blankly. But, i pretend like tak tau onlylah. A friend said i'm very excellent in pretending...yeah, maybelah..

I washed my stubborn hair last night with just Pantene and VD conditioner and its getting better than yesterday. Guess my hair tak biasa kena wash with shampoo mahal sikit kut. But, i have like 2 bottles of Loccitanne from my birthday! And a bottle of conditioner and a hair mask...sian my boss, she should just gave me a shopping voucher instead.

2 good friends are getting engaged in the next 2 months. yay!!!i'm not alone so that i don't feel bad being the only not-so-single-yet-tak-puas-jolly kind of person. But, i won't be able to attend their wedding. Don't ask me who they are cos i dunwana spill the beans yet.

My hair betrayed me!!!

I looked like a lady in the 70's show today cos my hair betrayed me...the fringe is super straight yet the rest goes wavy uncontrolably (i dunno if i spelled this one correctly..).

Arghhh...i need a hair treatment!!!

From Helsinki with love

It is kinda quiet here in my apartment. Luckily my sister in on her raya holiday, can teman me. Otherwise i'll be bothering Yett again by staying with her in Subang. Went shopping with my sis in Sunway Pyramid since they have Jusco there already.

Den is in Helsinki for work. Wish i was there too, then i can jalan2 while he is working :P. Oklah my "processor" is kinda slow today.

This is the one, no?

So, how was ur weekends? Mine kinda fun. On saturday i was up as early as 6.30 and started to clean the house. In batches lah...until like 12noon. Did my laundry then change the bedsheet. I have this queen sized bed and from the matress manual, it says the mattress need to be rotated like once in a while. So, rotating the matress was part of it. Cam nak patah bahu gaklah :P. I THREW SOME old magazines and KEPT MOST of it, hahahaha. I've been trying to get rid of them since forever but again i failed. Mase tu lah i found my old exam papers, my eyeliner behind the closet, my long lost stapler and mcm2 lglah..

Then, later in the evening i went to see my brother Arthur and passed him my car. Since, Dennis is not around to drive his car so i took his and Arthur took mine. Had dinner with him(hislah...mine's lunch!!) at 6.00pm.

And on Sunday, met up with Iena and Yett to do the bridal studio hunting again. It was kinda funny that we only managed to went into 1 bridal studio, de CasaMia. THe package was kinda attractive as compared to those i went before. But, still need to submit proposal to 'Finance Minister' cos it was slightly above budget. But...but...I THINK I WANT IT!!So, maybe reduce the budget for something else like maybe my ring?..er...maybe not my ring...or..the wedding favors?..or wedding shoes? Haiya...who started all this pre-wedding photoshoot thingy lah?! Then had mi kolok lunch with Gwen, Joseph and Yett. Pastu balik Subang (Yett's place), jadi minah saloon jap coloring Mary's hair, went to Starbucks SS15 for teatime with Yett, then washed my Karamba (the car) and just as i was done with the final splash it rained...best tak best? So, i decided not to wipe it, leave it lahkan.

Productivelah sikit this weekend if compared to my normal lazy weekend like this..

at 1.30pm on saturday, i thought "why not i continue my reading?"

I wanted to blog about baby Adam from home but the internet connection seemed to be cam %@$#! My bro, Valen just got a baby boy, Adam V.J Baya on 25/09/07 weighed 3.16kg. I can't wait to see him. My bro was so excited cos finally he got a boy after his two girls.

And Adam shared his birthday with baby Gordon, my friends Estia's and George's 2nd son.

Blue is boring...

I'm feeling blue right now...wait...former PM masuk spital lg? ok, i was blogging while my back facing the telly. D**n boringlah this sunday, actually every sunday also like that lah...cos, tomorrow is monday and i hate monday. who likes monday anyway, rite? I found myself making plans for weekends as early as friday the week before. how pathethic? i must admit that i've been lonesome and therefore been bothering the gals in Subang to tag along with me to the bridal studios to usha the pre-wedding photoshoot, next week to teman me to trim and re-color my hair..well, Yett is truly a best friend.

Yesterday, we went to 4 bridal studios in SS2 and typical me whom cant take things easily, had a bad migraine since lunchtime. i really cant help it but i need to get the quotation for the pre-wedding photoshoot for submission to my "Finance Minister". See, if you can afford a wedding planner, it is advisable to have one. The headache from the wedding planning is so unbearable. Can't wait to get it over with..and enjoy the desert rose life. Doesn't matter how life will change after that..

Btw, i have resigned from my job so as to have a full-time wedding planning. Semata2 u said? no, i have to be with my Finance Minister as in be by his side, physically... after the wedding. It was such a hard decision to make as i would love to stay and develop my career and i can see that something big is about to come by next year...but, i need to sacrifice my career. takpelahkan...

Kuching trip...

Wah..it's been awhile..mcm ni lah if semangat hangat2 taik ayam nak berblogging. The truth is i'm always home late. By the time i reached home, i'm so lembik oredi, tak kuasalah nak update blog pulak kan :)

Yeah, about my Kuching trip. I was supposed to fly on 6/9/07 at 8.40pm..as expected "everyone-can-fly-airline" delayed the flight to 9.45pm. Kinda relieved that it delayed cos i was working that day. Jadinyer, takyah nak rushing from office. After leaving my car as my MIL place, she hantar me to KL Sentral..naik bas jerlah. After checked-in and stuff, masuklah departure hall and board plane at 9.45pm. The flite to Kuching takes about 1hr45mins. After flying for about 1hr, the pilot pun announcelah (i thot nak announce..u know the normal announcement...wheather bla..bla...ketinggian..yadda..yadda..). But h*ll no! He was announcing that we are having technical problem!!!and..and...we have to turn back to KL...betulla tu TURNED BACK!!i was cursing like nobody's business. When we reached LCCT at around 12.30am, they asked us wait at the departure hall..cam the chair yg i sit while waiting to board the plane td still panas jer. Tunggu..punya..tunggu, suddenly "...our plane are rescheduled to fly 7am next morning"!!MEMANGKAN!!!Dorang pun servelah nasik lemak yg almost 1hr we waited for...dahlah tak sedap!ke, sbb i was so marah...they arranged accomodation for us lah, sib baik. So by 1am, bus pun dtg hantar us to Nilai Hotel (some kind of budget hotel lah kat Nilai tu...)

Reached the hotel by 2am. Checked-in, i got my own room. Habis mandi etc..ingat nak tido tp tetiba cam scary pulak. Now i remember, i have never spent a night alone in a hotel room!!tp, i was too tired i dozed off gak, until at 4.30am the reception call informing that the bus will arrive at 5 to fetch us to airport. Then, pastu naiklah flite kol 7am, sampailah di Kuching dgn jayanya. sampai2 jer pg salon cuci rambut...sajer!pastu g makan mee kolok then meet up with the hotel for the reception arrangement and later church pulak. penat, that night mmg i pengsan..

To emphasize on how "reliable' the airline was..my flite to KL was delayed jugak!tp, Kuching airport efficient sikitlah..they "ampu" us with KFC!!!
